05/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Hiding when I approach cage. (3) Reaction to being spoken to quietly: Does not come out but looks at you. (3) Reaction to cage door opening: Remains motionless. (2) Reaction to touch: Moves away to avoid being touched. (3) Reaction to being picked up: Did not attempt, cat appears stressed. Notes: Diaspore came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. At the time of the assessment, Diaspore is not interacting with the assessor and is avoiding handling. Diaspore is exhibiting behavior suited for experienced cat parents in a quiet, no-child home that can allow her proper adjustment time.
