11/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Sugar behavior was monitored by the enichment faciliator prior to her evaluation. They noticed Sugar is very nervous and tense in the care center. Sugar was bought into the care center due to her previous owner having too many pets. Reaction to assessor: Sugar does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Sugar does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Sugar remains motionless Reaction to touch: Sugar seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Sugar is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Sugar was displaying timid behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
