***SAFE 08/04/15*** PERFECTLY HEALTHY RARE GINGER GIRL KITTEN, DUMPED DUE TO LANDLORD, HAS A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HER ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT DEVOE A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Gorgeous ginger kitten DEVOE, a RARE orange girl just 11 months of age, was sadly surrendered to the kill-happy ACC due to PERSONAL PROBLEMS and LANDLORD issues. Her former owner asked that this pretty princess go to “A LOVING HOME”. Devoe lived with other cats and got along just fine, and she has perfect litter box manners! She earned a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating, but the overcrowded ACC will KILL this precious kitten at noon tomorrow, despite the fact that Devoe is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! The ACC always claims that they NEVER kill healthy cats and kittens, but poor Devoe is PROOF that they DO INDEED kill them, on a daily basis. Please be her savior tonight! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt adorable RARE ginger girl kitten DEVOE! If you can’t save DEVOE yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

07/30/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Devoe’s former owner stated she has lived with other cats and enjoys petting. Reaction to assessor: Devoe looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Devoe remains crouched down in litter box, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: Devoe accepts the stroke, but flinches and stiffens during the touch while she attempts to lean away from the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Devoe tolerates attention and petting, but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
