Can you be the special someone to open up your heart and home to this sweet but scared boy? Please let Dasa know that his life matters by reserving him online or let a rescue know you are willing to be Dasa’s hero. 09/23/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Dasa was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was tense during intake and would retreat and attempt to flee from an extended hand. He was also very nervous upon his initial medical exam and would try to get away. Reaction to assessor: Dasa was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Dasa’s eyes wander and would only look at the assessor for a short period of time. Reaction to cage door opening: Dasa remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Dasa remains in place and allows petting, but his ears bend sideways and he remains immobile throughout the interaction. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Dasa tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
