DALIAH – A1048216
8-22-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 08/22/15** DALIAH is a spayed 6-month-old kitten who should be enjoying buckets of toys and scampering around her owners’ feet. Instead, this charming pantherette is crouched in a tiny cell and waiting to be killed tomorrow morning. Why? Because this beauty was brought into the ACC as a stray, and they have NO idea how to get her adopted. Their shortcomings as an organization should not be taken out on DALIAH, but that’s exactly what will happen when the euth tech comes for her tomorrow. Please be the change

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Daliah looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Daliah remains crouched down on her cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Daliah hisses at first, but once touched she stiffens up in place and flinches. Placement determination: Experience / no child Daliah tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
