*** SAFE 07/02/15 *** CHELSEA & CYCLONE ARE TWO VICTIMS OF A HOARDER…..Brought into the ACC with a number of other cats, their owner didn’t give any information on them to help get them adopted. Based on their experiences at the ACC, CHELSEA & CYCLONE need some TLC and Time and some “cat whispering” skills as if looks like they were ignored in their former home. FOSTERING WOULD BE A BIG HELP TO THESE TWO CUTIES!! If you have room in your home and your heart, please contact a NEW HOPE rescue and offer to foster….IT’S FREE AND IT SAVES LIVES…..

06/27/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Cyclone came to the care center as a stray so we have no prior history of his behavior. Cyclone is alert on approach and relaxes after interaction with the assessor. He does appear comfortable with all forms of handling. However, after an extended period of petting, Cyclone becomes over-stimulated and nips at the assessor’s hand. Due to this behavior, we recommend Cyclone go to a home with experienced cat parents and no children. Reaction to assessor: Cyclone appears alert at the front of the kennel when approached. Reaction to cage door opening: Cyclone remains alert when the cage is opened. Reaction to touch: Cyclone allows touch and becomes more comfortable, eventually approaching the front and soliciting attention. After extended petting, Cyclone nips at the assessor’s hand with moderate pressure. Reaction to being picked up: Cyclone allows the pick up and remains calm while being held. Placement determination: Experience No Child
