Reaction to assessor: Critter was calm and relaxed upon approach. When softly spoken to, she looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Critter remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Critter lowers her head for petting and remains in place. After a little while, she leans her head onto the assessor’s hand slightly and closes her eyes. Reaction to toy or novel object: Critter shows no interest in playing. Reaction to being picked up: Critter remains calm and allows handling. As per previous owner, Critter has lived with 2 seniors for her whole life. They said she enjoys petting and loves to cuddle. She was easy to handle upon during her initial medical exam, but may be reserved due to being exposed to a new environment. Behavior Determination: Average Critter interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. There is no known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
