CRENSHAW – A1038019
6-4-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 06/04/15*** PERFECTLY HEALTHY YOUNG BLACK AND WHITE “STRAY” GIRL WILL DIE DUE TO HER FEAR – PLEASE GRANT CRENSHAW A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Gorgeous 2-year-old black and white plush-velvet beauty CRENSHAW was slung into the kill-happy ACC as a SUPPOSED “STRAY”, along with her best fur-friend CYNTHIA (A1038018, still available in the Urgent album). But Crenshaw entered the shelter FREE of fleas and ear mites, weighing a healthy 8.5 pounds! This poor little girl is a lost or abandoned pet, NOT a stray. Crenshaw is TERRIFIED in the loud, frightening shelter environment, so it’s no wonder she acted defensively when she was poked and prodded with the ACC’s scary fake hand used for cat behavior tests. The ACC decided to PUNISH Crenshaw with New Hope Only and fast-track her to the noon kill list for tomorrow, despite the fact that Crenshaw is PERFECTLY HEALTHY. Please know that Crenshaw will revert back to her usual sweet self, once she escapes the ACC hellhole. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt scared black and white beauty CRENSHAW from the approved New Hope rescue groups! If you can’t save CRENSHAW yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

06/03/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Crenshew was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. She seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment she was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. Crenshaw is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: was hiding when I approach cage (3) When spoken quietly: continues to hide (3) Reaction to door cage opening: becomes stiff, alert (3) Reaction to touch: growls, hisses, strikes, does not allows petting at all (5) Try picking cat up: did not attempt to pick the cat up, fractious behavior. Placement Determination: NewHope
