10/01/15 20:52 Countessa is a 1 yearold female black and white domestic shorthair cat who arrived as stray surrender. Upon intake Countessa was receptive to introduction. Countessa was quiet and loose for all handling. Counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) collar and photograph. Countessa was easily replaced to the carrier.

Countessa was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She had a loose body upon intake and was receptive to introduction. She was also easy to handle during her initial medical exam. Reaction to Assessor: Countessa was resting in her cage upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Countessa blinks sleepily at the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Countessa remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Countessa comes to the front and head-butts. She continues to solicit attention, begins to purr, and starts to knead. Reaction to being picked up: Countessa remains calm and allows handling. Placement Determination: Beginner Countessa interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
