CORKY – A1058251
Gone 12-4-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 12/04/15*** SURPRISING THIRD CHANCE FOR CORKY!! LET THE THIRD TIME BE THE CHARM!! CUTE CORKY WAS ABANDONED AT THE ACC – NOW THIS HUNK OF A CAT WILL DIE BECAUSE OF A COLD! CORKY was left at the shelter – was it by his owner or a stray trapper? We will never know as they just dumped him and left. How sad. CORKY is wondering what he did to deserve this and why they are going to kill him for his cold. This handsome guy is already neutered – a sign that he was someone’s pet – and a whopping 18 lbs!! He allowed petting and handling but hissed so that downgraded his behavior rating to EXPERIENCE. We all know that CORKY is just sad and confused and will be just fine once someone adopts him and gets him into a safe home. But CORKY is out of time and if that someone doesn’t put a reserve on him by NOON WEDNESDAY, he will be history, never to be seen again. DON’T LET THAT HAPPEN TO SWEET CORKY! HE DESERVES A CHANCE TO HAVE A NEW HOME AND A HAPPY ENDING TO HIS STORY!! CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO OFFER TO ADOPT OR FOSTER.

Reaction to assessor: Corky looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Corky remains sitting upright on his cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open.
