CORINA – A1030956
4-6-2015
*** UNKNOWN*** The spring equinox is a day of perfect balance, but for beautiful CORINA, that day marks the point when her life spun out of control. On 3/21 this *pregnant* cat was brought to the ACC, and yet tonight she makes the list as a *spayed* cat. They killed her unborn kittens, she still rocked an AVERAGE rating, but tomorrow they plan to kill her—-how fair is that? Please don’t let CORINA be the next victim of a completely ridiculous shelter system—-advocate strongly for her, tonight!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Corina was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, she looks at the assessor and starts to eat. Reaction to cage door opening: Corina remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Corina head-butts the assessor’s hand, remains in place for petting, and begins to purr. When continuing to pet her, she hisses and walks away, may be a sign to let me know she doesn’t want to be pet anymore. Reaction to toy or novel object: Corina shows no interest in playing. Reaction to being picked up: Corina allows handling but prefers to be inside her cage. Note: Corina was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was easy to handle upon intake and during her initial medical exam. Behavior Determination: Average Corina interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
