COQUITO – A1059018
Safe 12-3-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: Magnificat Cat Rescue Please honor your pledges: http://magnificatrescue.org/
**SAFE 12/03/15** COQUITO may be a mere snip of a girl at 12 weeks old, but she’s a smart cookie! She recognizes that the ACC is NOT a safe place to be, and as such, she has been slow to warm up to the threatening staff. She has only been there since 11/27 but she took their measure almost immediately. The ACC have retaliated by playing their trump card; that’s the one which reads, “don’t like us? Fine! We’ll just kill you.” Or maybe it reads, “Do you have a cold that we could cure with antibiotics, except that we don’t want to? Fine! We’ll just kill you!” That’s right, the ACC has decided that 3 days in their “shelter” is all this BABY GIRL merits. Prove them WRONG by working hard to find that hero of a FOSTER or ADOPTER who will save COQUITO, tonight!

11/30/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Coquito was neutral by the front upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Coquito looks at the assessor and blinks slowly. Reaction to cage door opening: Coquinto retreats to the back and becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Coquito was hesitant and attempts to avoid contact, but she allows all petting. She looks for an exit during the interaction and meows softly, but does not display any further reaction. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Conquito tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
