11/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Cookie was bought into the care center due to the previous owner having too many pets. Reaction to assessor: Cookie hisses and growls When spoken quietly: Cookie hisses and growls Reaction to door cage opening: Cookie comes to the front to hiss Reaction to touch: Cookie swats when attempted to touch Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: NewHope Cookie seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. Cookie may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
