05/07/15 12:16 Cookie has not been around children, cats, or dog. She lived with one elderly adult. It was stated that she is litter box trained and friendly. Intake Behavior: Cookie laid in the carrier and did not move when the carrier door was open. When counelsor pet her, she hide her face. She allowed handling for photos, scanning, and collaring. She did not show aggressive behaviors.

Notes: Cookie was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying social behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Cookie is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention (1) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
