CONFETTI – A1037467

5-30-2015 Brooklyn

Previous | Next

***GONE 05/30/15*** CONFETTI WAS CAUGHT IN A FERAL CAT TRAP AND BROUGHT TO THE SHELER-scared to death, he allowed himself to be petted. CONFETTI came from the Brownsville area of East NY, Brooklyn, and arrived with his buddy OMAR- A1037470. Both guys are wondering how they got here and why-and with time, these guys will come around and be wonderful cats. CONFETTI has a small wound to the base of his tail, he could have been hurt by someone or had an allergy as many cats do this time of year….but unless he’s saved tonight, he will die, and that is so unfair. Please save precious CONFETTI tonight…don’t let him be killed-he has committed no crime save being picked up for being homeless. SAVE CONFETTI TONIGHT!!!!!!

05/28/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Confetti was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he relaxed a little and I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. Although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless (2) Reaction to touch: remains motionless, Fearful Try picking cat up: Did not attempt ,Fearful Placement Determination: Experience no child
