04/05/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Hiding in the den when I approach. (3) When spoken quietly: Continues hiding but looks at you through holes. (3) Reaction to door cage opening: Remains motionless. (2) Reaction to touch: Moves away, but is tolerant. No hissing, growling or fractious behavior. (3) Try picking cat up: Did not attempt. Notes: Cola came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. At the time of the assessment, Cola appears fearful. She hides from the assessor and avoids being handled. She is displaying behavior suited for experienced cat parents who can help her to socialize properly.
