I am a neutered male brn tabby and white domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 7 YEARS old.

I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 04/22/2015 from NY 10027, owner surrender reason stated was COST.

4/23 530pm doing better, up alert catheter patent urine less bloody gave 100cc lrs around 6 pm rx clavamox 100 lrs bid, pull catheter tomorrow eve buprinex bid 4/23 large firm bladder, no urine in box depressed, vocalizing sedated 0.1 ttdex (0.05 then booster dose 10 minutes later) reversed 0.05 antisedan after passed tomcat catheter with some difficulty tip of penis bruised, swollen bloody urine steadily flowing gave 200cc LRS SQ 0.5ml dex (.5mg) sq 0.5ml pen g somewhat bradycardic during procedure. 04/22/15 20:13 NAME Cody REASON FOR SURRENDER For financial reasons, owner could no longer keep Cody RELATIONSHIP Cody’s previous owner received him from a friend about 7 years ago. He is currently about 7 years old. He scanned negative for a microchip. PEOPLE He lived in a home with one adult. He usually played gently with his owner and he loved to have his head scratched. Owner also stated that he would run to the door when there were visitors and that he was excited to greet them. He has never bitten another animal. OTHER ANIMALS He has lived with one other cat, his brother Zack. He was usually relaxed, affectionate, or respectful around him. When he would play with him, he was either exuberant or somewhat rough. He has never bitten another animal. PERSONALITY He is a moderately active indoor only cat who has been described as gentle, social, playful, friendly, very affectionate, confident, assertive, quiet, and independent. He isn’t bothered during nail trimmings. He usually will tolerate being brushed. He sometimes doesn’t mind being held, but he prefers to sit next to you and be petted. He doesn’t mind being placed in a carrier or being disturbed while he is sleeping. He is usually relaxed during car rides. He enjoys chasing and playing with balls, wand toys, and strings. He eats Wellness dry and wet food. He tends to scratch on his cat tree made of carpet or a vertical scratching post made of cardboard. He likes to sleep on the arms of the sofa. TRAINING He is litter box trained and he doesn’t usually have accidents. MEDICAL He has been sick for the past few days and owner stated that he has not eaten. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE He was sweet during the intake. He had a soft body and soft eyes squinty eyes. He allowed petting and handling and he showed no signs of aggression.
