***SAFE 12/01/15*** A volunteer writes: I met Clover just this weekend when I went to feed her breakfast and shake out her bedding. She was so timid, curled up into a little ball in the corner of her kennel with her eyes wide as saucers. When I picked her up and held her, she clung to me; and when I whispered in her ear that I love her, over and over again, she calmed down and began to purr, ever so lightly. Clover is a sweet little girl who needs a gentle and patient human companion who will stroke her and promise to give her the purr-fect life. Clover can be won over, but it will take time and lots of love.’ Do you want to prove to CLOVER how lucky she is? Save her life! Offer to foster this gentle little girl who lived in a home when she was found, and was turned in as a ‘stray’. She deserves to live, don’t you think…give her a chance to live-she’s just a year old…by offering to foster or adopt her! She’s adorable, kittenish and sweet. She needs you to get out of ACC alive…please save her!

Clover was found and taken indoors and client gave some limited behavior information. While in the home Clover used a litter box that was open with clumping litter. Clover was exposed to a dog at the home and Clover was tolerant for this. Client states that Clover could be aroused by the presence of another cat and wil start to hiss. In the home Clover was mostly shy and would sometimes hide. Clover did enjoy playing with balls and strings. Clover ate both wet and dry food. Upon intake Clover was shy for introduction and very still for handling. Counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) collar and photograph. Clover was happy to return to the carrier. Clover allowed petting but was very still for this with a semi tense body.
