06/25/15 12:12 Clover was found last night by University avenue in the bronx. The finder says that his mother was walking and saw the cat in the street. It appeared to be very hungry so she took it in for the night. He said that he called a few no kill shelters and they turned him away. He also called a cat shelter and they told him that they were full. So Acc was the last option. During intake, Clover was relxed and calm. He meowed a little but was mostly quiet. He allowed all handling. He appears to be very thin and lethargic. He did not resist or retreat.

Reaction to assessor: Clover was resting in his cage upon approach. When softly spoken to, he did not wake; he was very sleepy. Reaction to cage door opening: Clover remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Clover wakes up and meows softly. He remains in place for petting and seems indifferent to touch. Reaction to being picked up: Clover remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Clover interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
