Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Cloudy watches the assessor from the back of the cage When spoken quietly: Cloudy watches the assessor from the back of the cage Reaction to door cage opening: Cloudy look at the opening possibly considering fleeing Reaction to touch: Cloudy moves away from me and tries to flee cage Try picking cat up: Cloudy is not tolerant of this type of handling, very afraid, tries to flee. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Cloudy was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Tries to flee as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a very limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
