***SAFE 06/22/15*** ANOTHER RARE CHANCE FOR POOR CLOUDY! This sweet, scared 7-year-old gent had been living with someone who was so wrapped up in their own “personal problems,” they couldn’t spare a few extra minutes to give any social history about Cloudy. He was filthy and matted when he arrived at the shelter, and even that jaded institution decided they could not allow that to continue any longer; they shaved the mats from his back. Cloudy is exactly the sort of cat who will blossom into a total lovebug, once he feels safe in a new environment. There aren’t many things as rewarding as giving a lovely cat like Cloudy, a second chance, but the shelter is going to make sure that doesn’t happen because they will kill him at NOON Monday. This cat deserves to live and have a loving home and that is why we MUST find a foster/adopter for CLOUDY, tonight!!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Cloudy looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Cloudy remains crouched down on his cage bedding, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: Cloudy accepts a stroke, but stiffens up and hisses with ears down at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Cloudy tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
