CLEOPATRA – A1033988
5-2-2015 Brooklyn
**GONE 05/02/15** SECOND TIME ON THE LIST FOR THE HANDSOME, MALE KITTY NAMED ‘CLEOPATRA’ Cleopatra is a young male cat who has been at the ACC since 4/22 and he has survived the euth list once already. He seems to have an upper respiratory infection that needs to be dealt with by a competent vet. The ACC are planning to “cure” it the same way they “cure” everything; with a lethal injection. Please make the most of this rare second chance and find a foster/adopter for Cleopatra, tonight!

Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless (2) Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Reaction to toy or novel object: shows no interest in playing (3) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling. Placement Determination: Experience ————————————————————————————————————————————————— Notes: Cleopatra was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up for a brief time. Once put back in the cage he hissed as he retreated to the back. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no small children. Reaction to assessor: attempts to hide upon my approach (3) When spoken quietly: continues to hide (3) Reaction to door cage opening: retreats (3) Reaction to touch: moves away from me (4) Try picking cat up: allowed this type of handling for a brief time period Placement Determination: Experience, with no small children.
