***SAFE 07/07/15*** MEET CITY KITTY AND HER BROTHER KIRO! THIS DYNAMIC DUO ARE SIBS AND VERY BONDED! CITY KITTY and KIRO are sweet and gentle little cats who would up in the ‘care center’ when their owner had to move back to his country and couldn’t take the feline members of the household with him. Would he have done so if he knew they could face death? But here they are, and their lives are in danger-and CITY KITTY and KIRO need you tonight. They are perfect masters of the litterbox and scratching post, and have lived with a child. They would probably do wonderfully in a home with or without another cat. What they really need is a chance to be fostered or adopted! PLEASE SAVE CITY KITTY and KIRO tonight! These are perfectly friendly, beautiful and well cared for cats. They don’t deserve to be killed for being homeless! PLEASE SAVE THEM!!!

06/22/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/22/15 13:16 Basic Info: City Kitty is a 4 year old, calico, spayed female cat. She came into the shelter with her brother, Kiro. The two of them are very bonded and are used to spending a lot of time together. Kitty has been to the vet within the last year for a checkup. Social Life and Personality: City Kitty comes from a home where there was one child. He was 10 years old and is now 14. She is respectful of the child and is pretty mellow most of the time. While the cats are pretty gentle with each other normally, they can play a little rough from time to time. Neither City Kitty nor Kiro has ever interacted with a canine. City Kitty is a litter box master and she is kept exclusively indoors. The siblings love to run around the house together. They don’t care if they are chasing a ball or chasing each other. Kitty is described as playful at times and mellow most days. Behavior: It has been a few years since Kitty saw the inside of a bathtub but back then she was not a fan, at all. She was affraid and she did struggle. Her former owner had tried to trim her nails but that did go over very well either. It is probably best to have her nails trimmed at the vet. If you’re going to try the bath or the nail trim on your own with City Kitty, a good way to get back on her good side would be with a good brushing. City Kitty really loves the brush. This girl is loving but not the type of loving that enjoys being picked up or held. For a New Family to Know: Don’t let her name fool you; City Kitty is used to a clean carrier with Fresh Step litter in her uncovered litter box. She does share the box with her loving brother Kiro. Both City Kitty and Kiro love to chase stuffed toys (specifically squeaky rats and balls). City Kitty has never been given a scratching post so she has been scratching on the couch. She might just love a nice big scratching post for and her brother to sink their claws into. When her owner is home City Kitty is not constantly seeking attention. She perfers to sit in a high place and watch over the home. This girl is a custom to the finest of Fancy Feast food. She is used to being fed around 6 am and 4 pm. City Kitty may be good in a tech savy home because she enjoys sleeping in the computer chair.
