CITRON – A1043415
7-15-2015 Brooklyn
*** GONE 07/15/15 *** CITRON IS A LADY WITH “TORTITUDE”…None of this ACC poking and prodding for her!! CITRON is already SPAYED so she was once in someone’s home and for whatever reason became stray. CITRON is a nice healthy weight so she hasn’t been a stray for long….PLEASE DON’T LET HER NEW HOPE RATING MEAN NO HOPE…..Many cats with these ratings are purrfectly fine. They are terrified at the shelter and their true purrsonalities are hidden. CONTACT A NEW HOPE RESCUE TONIGHT AND OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT THIS SPIRITED GIRL AND HELP HER FIND A NEW HOME!!

07/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Citron was calm and relaxed upon approach. When softly spoken to, she starts to growl. Reaction to cage door opening: Citron becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Citron backs away from the assessor’s hand and starts to yowl. She lifts her paw up to prepare to swat and does not allow touch. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Citron is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
