04/14/15 16:48 Upon kitten was growling nd flicking it’s tail. Cat never attempted to scratch or bite. It allowed to be scanned ofr a microchip (result negative). Cat could not be collared nor picked up by n admissions counselor.

Notes: Cinderella was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying conflicted behavior, Hisses when approached cage,did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates some petting. Cinderella is displaying behavior appropriate for experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: Hisses while laying down (1) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention (1) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
