09/30/15 10:19 Basic Information: Cibeles is a 6 year’s old altered female domestic shorthair. She was originally adopted from BACC and then given as a gift to a friend. Owner stated Cibele appears to be healthy and has no health concerns. Owner surrenders Cibeles due to living arrangements. Social Life and Personality: Cibeles lived with 2 adult and been around children ages 2, 5 and 12. Owner stated Cibeles is affectionate, relaxed and respectful towards everyone in the household. Cibeles behavior is unknown towards other animals since she was the only pet. Cibeles is indoors only and activity level is high in the morning and medium towards the afternoon. Owner describes Cibeles as playful, confident and affectionate. Behavior Issues: Cibeles has never bitten or scratched anyone owner stated. She does have a habit of clawing on walls and furniture. Beside that her behavior is good. Owner takes Cibeles to the vet to be groomed. She enjoys being picked up and held. For a New Family to Know: Cibeles is litter box trained and her litter box had a hood on it. She played with plush toys and balls. Cibeles had a scratching post but never used it. She rarely seeks attention but when she do she will rub aginst owner leg and enjoyed being pwt. Cibeles ate dry food called Deli cat and sleep in her pet bed. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Cibeles was calm and relaxed. She showed no interest in taking photo and attempt to flee when she had the chance. Reaction to assessor: Cibeles does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed When spoken quietly: Cibeles comes to the front of cage, soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Cibeles remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Cibeles solicits petting and attention Reaction to other cats: Cibeles hissed at another cat she seen but did redirect. She continued to solicited attention afterwords. Try picking cat up: Cibeles is tolerant of this type of handling Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Cibeles was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting.
