MICKEY aka CHULO – A1041194
7-9-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 07/09/15*** GRAY AND WHITE YOUNG CHARMER, SILL WEARING HIS BELLED COLLAR AND DUMPED DUE TO OWNER’S EVICTION, HAS A LOVING VOLUNTEER PLEA AND A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE HE SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT MICKEY A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Gorgeous two-year-old gray and white laddie MICKEY (formerly named CHULO) has the most LUXURIOUS white whiskers and one of his photos shows a glimpse of his little red belled collar. This dear young gent was SEIZED due to his former owner’s EVICTION and slung into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties, where he soon caught the eye of an ACC volunteer, who lovingly writes: “Hey – haven’t I seen this guy before, cruising down Sunset in his Caddy and diggin’ the scene with a gangsta lean? Yeah it’s old Mickey all right, and even in reduced circumstances he’s looking as sharp as ever, flexing that gangsta fur coat of his and getting all the ladies’ attention. Just come within range and he’ll start chatting you up, trying to involve you in another of his crazy schemes; gaze into those cool green eyes a moment too long and he’ll play you for a sucka. But make no mistake, this old hustler has a heart of pure gold, and he knows how to take care of his friends, too. So you might not drive a big El Dorado with white wall tires and TV antennas in the back, but you can still stand tall, my friend, knowing that you gave this old reprobate the happy home he deserves and that he’s going to be your right-hand man for many years to come.” Sweet Mickey earned a very good EXPERIENCE behavior rating, but this poor boy will DIE at noon tomorrow, an INNOCENT VICTIM of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system. Please don’t let them silence his purrs forever! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt adorable MICKEY! If you can’t save MICKEY yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

06/30/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Mickey does not come to the front, but remains neutral inside his cage. When softly spoken to, he looks at the assessor and sniffs around while sitting upright. Reaction to cage door opening: Mickey remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Mickey head-butts the assessor’s hand lightly, closes his eyes, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Mickey becomes tense and growls. He jumps back into the cage and attempts to swat. Behavior Determination: Experience Oscar tolerates attention and petting but might not like being picked up. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up in his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
