CHUCHI – A1043832
7-21-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 07/21/15**** SECOND CHANCE FOR CHUCHI!!Chuchi was found on the street by her human, they took her in and gave her a life for a few years. until one day her human decided they could no longer take care of this senior girl and dumped her and her brother Moe at the ACC, knowing full well it is Death Row and they might now make it out alive. Chuchi looks like a Chuchi, a smush face love bug. Chuchi would always come to her human at night and cuddle, it was their “thing.” To think Chuchi might not be around tomorrow to do that is sad. Chuchi and 50 other cats have made the Euth list. Chuchi desperately needs help, she’s got alot of competition tonight. Don’t let this love bug leave this earth before her time. Share her for a forever home. Her life depends on it

07/14/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/14/15 21:21 Chuchi is a 9 year old domestic short hair tortie cat, who was found as a stray by the previous owner. She was surrendered to us because the owner could no longer keep her in the apartment she was in. The two things the owner liked most about Chuchi is that she always came to him at night and like to cuddle. Social Life & Personality: Around children Chuchi doesn’t play. Around other cats Moe also doesn’t play. Around other dogs Moe is very tolerant. She is litter box trained and was kept mostly indoors. Her activity level is very high and she can be described as confident, friendly, talkative, very affectionate, and somewhat independent. Behavior Issues: When given a bath or had her nails trim Chuchi was afraid, she struggles, hisses, swats and bites. When held or picked up, she struggles. When put in a carrier she was afraid and struggled, hissed swatted and bit. If she is disturbed while sleeping, she enjoys it. For a New Family to Know: Chuchi used crystal litter in an uncovered litter box. She likes to play with catnip toys. She likes to scratch on carpet type furniture and cardboard boxes. When the owners were home Chuchi tend to follow them around and like to stay in the same room. She played gently with previous owners. When she was driven in the car she enjoyed it but meowed. She eats meow mix dry cat food. And she sleeps anywhere but mainly the bed.

07/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Chuchi’s former owner stated around children and cats she doesn’t play. However, around other dogs Moe is very tolerant. Also, described as confident, friendly, talkative, very affectionate, and somewhat independent. Reaction to assessor: Chuchi looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Chuchi remains crouched down at the back of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Chuchi accepts the stroke, but lip licks in place and remains cautious with her surroundings with eyes wandering. Placement determination: Experience / no child Chuchi tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
