*** SAFE 06/26/15 *** RARE SECOND CHANCE FOR POOR CHIRR, WHO WAS BROUGHT IN WITH ANOTHER GROUP OF CATS, AND IS FIGHTING OFF HER FEAR…..CHIRR is apparently a lost or abandoned cat. She is five years young and already SPAYED…And even though she is afraid at the ACC, she has earned herself and AVERAGE rating, no small feat….because she was easy to handle, and appreciated petting and attention. THIS IS A LOVELY LADY JUST LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE…PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING HER THAT LOVE AND A HOME TONIGHT!! YOU’LL BE GLAD THAT YOU SAVED A LIFE!! DON’T WAIT!! At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Chirr is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
