CHIRP – A1039681
6-19-2015 Brooklyn
*SAFE* 06/19/15- Chirp and Casper are two chubby and charming cats waiting for their forever homes at BACC! Chirp was found as a stray, and Casper was surrendered due to allergies. They are both over 21 pounds, and could use some help getting ready for swimsuit season! Chirp is very affectionate, and can always be found at the front of his cage doing everything he can to get your attention! Casper is a bit more reserved, but according to his previous owner, loves to chase balls and is gentle with children. Please help Casper and Chirp find the loving families they deserve, and pull them from BACC today!

Behavior: Beginner Home
Notes: Chirp was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying very social behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Chirp is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
Reaction to assessor: comes to the front of the cage, soliciting, rubbing against the cage front
When spoken quietly: stays at front, continues soliciting attention
Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft & relaxed
Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention
Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
Placement Determination: Beginner
