07/13/15 18:25 China is a white and brown tabby stray cat. The cat was found with other 2 siblings. China allowed being handling, picked up and petted. He was motived by treats and leaned in to rub on counselor. China’s body was soft and relaxed and he allowed to be scanned (negative), collard and photographed. The cat was very affectionate during intake.

Reaction to Assessor: Chin Chin is at the front and is calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, he head-butts the cage door to solicit attention. Reaction to cage door opening: Chin Chin remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Chin Chin head-butts, leans onto the assessor’s hand, and begins to purr. When the assessor stops, he continues to rub his cheeks for more attention. Reaction to being picked up: Chin Chin remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Chin Chin interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
