11/15/15 08:41 Chica is a 2 year old gray tabby female domestic shorthair cat who is being surrendered due to landlord issues. Chica was born in the home. Chica lived with 4 adults and 1 small dog who is playful and interactive but Chica is indifferent to her. There were also 14 other cats in the home. Owner staes that as a whole the cats all got along well with another, were loose and playful and socialized with the humans in this house. Owner states that none of the cats isolated themselves from play or contact with humans or one another and that all the cats slept together. Chica was active and participated in this group but could also be on her own. Owner states she is smaller than the other cats and is the one cat who is more likely to separate from the group and find her own space at times. Multiple litter boxes were kept in the home and Chica like the other cats would access any of them at her convenience. The litter boxes had fresh step litter in it and the boxes were open. Chica used the litter box well and is an indoor cat. When visitors come to the home the cats tend to be indifferent but are not defensive to it. Chica has not had a bath or a nail trim. Chica enjoys being picked up and likes to be brushed as well. Chica is slightly fearful of going into a carrier but became calm once inside and she was quiet for the car ride. Chica likes to play with wand toys and also enjoys playing swat and chase with olive pits. Chica does not have a scratching post and owner says she does not scratch furniture in the home. When the family is home she likes to be where they are and when home alone she is well behaved. Chica likes dry food. Upon intake Chica was shy for introduction and choose to stay for towards the back of the carrier. Chica was not handled and counselor scanned for microchip (negative) and photographed in the carrier but did not collar.
