Safe 11-23-2015 Manhattan
***SAFE 11/23/15***GORGEOUS AND SUPER AFFECTIONATE BLACK AND WHITE SWEETHEART NEEDS YOU-BE CHEYENNE’S HERO! A volunteer writes, “If Cheyenne could write a personals ad, here’s what it would say: “Sweet, gentle tuxedo girl looking for lifelong love. I’m very pretty (it’s true–check out my photo!), weigh just 6 petite pounds, and I’m coming out of my kitten years, so I’ve learned a few things about good manners and how to behave. I’m all about long naps, quiet moments, and taking my time to get to know a person. I have a shy side, you see, and it can take me a bit to warm up and really come out of my shell. I’ve been at the Care Center for a while now, and all my human friends tell me that they’re sure I’ll be adopted any day now. But so far, it’s just been one missed connection after another. I refuse to give up hope that there’s a soul mate forever family out there for me. Come up for a visit to 110th Street, and lets see if sparks fly.” Another volunteer writes: Sweet Cheyenne. Wrapped in a pretty tuxedo coat. This shy little wallflower is patiently waiting for some extra TLC. Hesitant at first, but once you start petting this snuggly one, her big golden saucer eyes slowly begin to soften and close and she enjoys the attention. This cutie gentle girl would love to be your center of your attention. And what’s that??….a little black and white paw slowly stretching towards you as if to say “thank you for taking the time to pet me today.” Have a lotta love to give? Come adopt Cheyenne!!” Doesn’t this one year old precious pet sound positively purrfect? We don’t know why she is at risk after being in the safe folder. What we do know is that if we don’t do everything we can to advocate for her tonight, she will become another sad ACC stat when tomorrow rolls around. If you are fed up and angry that 35 precious lives are at risk tonight, why not put that frustration to work by stepping up to foster or adopt Cheyenne? This is an easy-peasy cat who would brighten up your life for the holidays and forever. Email the help desk for assistance. Transportation is available. Make the call for this precious girl now and be the change you want to see in the world!

During intake Cheyenne was sitting relaxed at the front of her carrier. She would remain calm when the Admissions Counselor hand was extended towards her. She allowed handling. She was collared, scanned for a microchip (negative) and photographed without displaying any negative behavior.
