CHESTER – A1030632
SAFE*** “Attention Seeking” are two words which have been used to describe CHESTER, and they are also two words which describe a cat who is an absolute love! Chester can't get enough of people and his behavioral notes even mention that he would be a good fit for the first-time cat owner, although he scored a super AVERAGE rating. Chester should transition readily into just about any new home setting, and then he will pour on the unconditional love! Make sure Chester gets his ticket to freedom tomorrow, by sharing him far and wide, tonight.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Chester was brought to the care center as a stray so we don't have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. Chester does better with a slow approach and once comfortable purrs while being pet. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, tolerates all petting. He is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage, soliciting, rubbing against front (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention (1) Reaction to toy or novel object: shows no interest (1) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling Placement Determination: Average
