CHERRY – A1030960
4-5-2015
SWEET AND SAD CHERRY NEEDS NEW FRIEND! What is sadder than being abandoned and losing the only home you ever knew? Poor Cherry and her fab feline friends came into the shelter back on 3/21 when their owner was evicted and left them behind. Cherry is a sweet but scared two year old boy with no aggression who tolerates all petting and handling who needs a loving new home. He is low maintenance and would be a purrfect companion to just about anyone (except maybe small kids). This poor boy and his pals already lost so much. Tomorrow, Cherry will lose all that’s left—his precious life. We can’t let that happen. If you can open your heart and home to Cherry and perhaps even one of his other calm and sweet friends, please reserve him online or contact a NH rescue for assistance. Put a little love in your heart and save a life!!!

03/27/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Cherry looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Cherry remains crouched down at the back, immobile facing the back wall. Reaction to touch: Cherry accepts the stroke but stiffens in place and shows no interest on the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Cherry tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
