06/27/15 19:56 Chelsea is a stray black kitten who is approximately 4-5 months old. Chelsea was found in a backyard with one of her litter mates but no queen cat. Chelsea was receptive to receiving food but was said to be difficult to catch when the time came for her to be brought to ACC. Chelsea was mostly calm throughout the intake process but did demonstrate signs of mischief. Chelsea appears healthy and will undergo a full medical exam before being presented for adoption.

Reaction to Assessor: Chelsea does not come to the front, but remains neutral inside his cage. When softly spoken to, he focuses on the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Chelsea remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Chelsea remains immobile during petting, his eyes wander and his ears bend sideways. Reaction to being picked up: Chelsea becomes a bit tense, but allows handling. Behavior Determination: Experience Chelsea tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
