About Chase: Owner had chase between 10-11 years. He was adopted from the ACC. Chase is an independent cat who likes to be by herself. She was kept only indoors and used a hooded litter box. Owner described chase as shy, mellow, quiet, very lazy and independent. Chase does not like to be bathed, or have her fur brushed as she will meow, struggle to get away and goes to scratch.
Chase has been around small children and interacts fine with them. With other cats, Chase was also gentle and never had an issue with other cats. Owner had a Maltese and stated Chase was relaxed, respectful and very tolerant around the dog.
Owner stated that Chase likes to scratch furniture and did not really care for the scratching post they had for her in the house. Chase also does not care for toys and will not react if you try to play with her. She is not fond of being picked up and struggles to get out.
Food: Chase was fed only dry food called Cat Chow. Owner tried to put Chase on different diets so she can lose weight but was not successful. Owner stated it was over the last year that he noticed the majority of the weight gain.
