***SAFE 12/30/15*** ANOTHER CHANCE FOR CHAS & DES…MAKE IT COUNT!! JUST BABIES! 13 week old scared CHAS AND DES ARE TWO LITTLE KITTENS WHO LOST THEIR WAY AND WILL LOSE THEIR LIVES tomorrow! DON’T LET ACC KILL THESE BABIES! They were found in someone’s backyard, who couldn’t keep them so she took them to the ACC where scared to death and alone, these little guys were tossed onto death row for being scared and black-their brother (EL – A1061096) is not on tonights list but may well be at some time…these fellas who are just babies need patience, love and someone to give them a chance…a bathroom, a small walk in closet, some baby food and love.but they won’t get that, they will be killed tomorrow for coming from the streets and being black kittens, and black kittens do poorly in shelters, and are the least likely to be adopted or fostered…please look at the potential these babies have. Give them a chance. They are soft furred and purr and knead-they just need someone to be a little patient! Please save CHAS AND DES TOMORROW!!!

12/24/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Chas looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Chas remains crouched position at the back of the cage, body held tightly, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Chas accepts the stroke, but shows no interest on the touch and stiffens up in place. Placement determination: Experience / no child Chas tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
