SAFE – 05/01/15- **GORGEOUS & HUNKY GINGERBREAD MAN NEEDS NEW FRIEND! Charlie is a super sized, front declawed dreamsicle creamsicle who needs us to advocate for his precious life tonight. His former owner noted, “The thing that I like most about Charlie is that he loves my 11 year old daughter.” Sad sigh! Then how in the world can you give him up? Apparently, Charlie who is being returned after already making it out of the dreaded shelter, is gentle with kids does not get along with other kitties. He is playful and tolerates all petting and handling. He is a zaftig 19 lbs, which only means that there is more of him to love! He is purrfectly healthy, already neutered and would be a great companion. He is scared at the shelter and his rating declined from an experienced no kids to New Hope. But everyone knows gingerbread men are the sweetest kitties around and surely Charlie is no exception. Don’t let him die because he was betrayed by his former owner. Contact a NH rescue ASAP if you can open up your heart and home to this fab fella. He will surely return to his normal loving gingerbread self once he is back where he belongs—in a loving home. Won’t you please be this gorgeous and hunky gingerbread man’s rescue angel?

Charlie is declawed from the front claws and he does not have any injuries or health concerns. The thing that I like about Charlie the most is that he loves my 11 year old daughter. SOCIAL LIFE: Around children Charlie is very relaxed and affectionate with Family members. He plays gentle with my 10 year old daughter. He does not play well with other cats, and pounces on the other cat at home. he plays very rough with the other cat. Charlie uses the litter box. Charlie was mostly kept indoors and he has a medium activity level. The best way to describe him is he is territorial and very independent. BEHAVIOR: Charlie often soft nibbles on people’s hands, but not my daughter’s. I have never given him a bath so I don’t know how he would respond to that. He did enjoy me brushing his coatand picking him up. He isn’t bothered by being placed in a carrier. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: Charlie uses clumping litter, any brand.
