CHAPLIN – A1057912
Safe 11-29-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
**SAFE 11/29/15** BEGINNER-rated CHAPLIN is a 9-month-old kitten who was found in the garage of an apartment building. His clean coat and relentless quest for attention imply that he was someone’s pet in the not-too-misty past. In fact, the shelter sent out an email plea on Chaplin’s behalf, telling New Hope rescues that “he is super affectionate and will paw at any staff that comes to his cage.” That email also mentioned that CHAPLIN has a heart murmur, which is information that they neglected to put on his biography when they slapped him on the list. Oversights are common at the ACC; oversights and dead cats. Please do NOT let this exceptionally nice kitten be one more dead cat in an ACC freezer—advocate strongly for CHAPLIN tonight!

11/14/15 15:43 Chaplin has been seen in the garage of an apt building for a few days. His finder picked him up and brought him to ACC. He reports that he was friendly and allowed him to pick him up and put him in a box. Chaplin had a soft body while we picked him up, scanned him (-), collared him, positioned him for pictures, and put him in a kennel. He walked around with a low body and looked around while on the counter. He didn’t resist, retreat, or vocalize.
