CERSI – A1046524
***GONE 8/20/15*** Life has been hard for Cersi. This ginger tabby was brought into the ACC as a stray. He is a beautiful orange guy with big eyes. He is afraid. He may have been someone’s pet at some point, but now he has been wandering the streets looking for food and a little love. He is only 3 years old. Don’t let today be this handsome guy’s last day on earth!!! He can go to a home with experienced cat parents, who know how to help this sweetie learn to trust again. He tolerates being picked up, and with some TLC he can be a loyal companion. Please foster or adopt Cersi today!

08/03/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/03/15 22:10 Cersi is an orange male tabby who was brought into ACC today as a stray. Cersi was initially nervous not interacting and remaining aloof during the Intake process. Cersi struggled slightly when she was being transferred into a new carrier but was not reactive in a negative manner. Cersi was nervous and would not allow herself to be collared retreating further into her carrier. Cersi did allow herself to be photographed inside her carrier. Cersi also accepted food she was given. Cersi will need time to adopt to and became acquainted with her new environment.

08/06/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Cersi was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remians motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Cersi allows handling but is very tense Placement Determination: Experience
