08/19/15 13:08 Catalina was found in front of a supermarket. The finder took her in and fed and gave her water. Behavior during intake The finder came in carrying the cat. He set her down on the floor and I was able to approach her and pick her up. I gave her water and food. She allowed all handling-Scanning(-), collaring and was very friendly.

Reaction to touch: Catalina head-butts the assessor’s hand, stands with tail up, and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy and jumps back into her cage. Placement determination: Average Catalina interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
