CASHMERE – A1033798
4-26-2015 Brooklyn
**GONE 04/26/15** Cashmere is gorgeous, but is she 5 years old? Is she 12 years old? Heck, the ACC don’t know, nor do they care; both ages are listed for her. Cashmere was found as a stray and the poor girl has a mammary gland tumor that will require attention from a competent veterinarian—those are 2 words that are not associated with the ACC. Two words that *are* associated with the ACC are “lethal injection,” and that is what they have planned for this EXPERIENCE-rated girl! Cashmere dies tomorrow afternoon unless someone steps up for her tonight.

04/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Cashmere came to us as a stray on 4/20/15, so we do not have any behavior information prior to what is being seen in the shelter. Cashmere can be seen in kennel with neutral body language when approached. She allows the assessor to pet her softly, but seems uncomfortable to the touch, though she does not escalate or show any signs of aggression. The behavior department believes that Cashmere can go to an experienced home. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken to quietly: attempts to hide from you once you start to speak (3) Reaction to cage door opening: remains motionless or does not respond (2) Reaction to touch: Allows petting on the head, but hisses when the body is touched. (3)
