CASCADE – A1052120
Gone 9-25-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 09/25/15** CASCADE has luminous green eyes and an appropriately wary look for his intake photograph, but picture those same green eyes being lit up with love and trust. That is totally possible, provided someone steps up to FOSTER or ADOPT this nice boy TONIGHT! Cascade is thought to be better-suited for a home without young children and he has some hair thinning which should be looked at by a competent vet, but given some TLC and some time to decompress? He will almost certainly become a loving, loyal companion! Please make this happy ending possible by finding a FOSTER or ADOPTER for Cascade, tonight

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Cascade does not come to the front, but remains neutral inside his cage. Reaction when softly spoken to: Cascade looks around and starts to breathe rapidly. Reaction to cage door opening: Cascade remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Cascade lowers his head and closes his eyes when pet. He twitches when pet on his body, but he remains immobile throughout the interaction. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Cascade tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
