CARLTON – A1041129
6-28-2015 Brooklyn
***SAFE 06/28/15***SUPER SWEET GINGERBREAD MAN WILL DIE FOR NO GOOD REASON—BE CARLTON’S HERO! “Good, sweet boy,” wrote someone at the ACC in two year old Carlton’s notes. Yet this good, sweet boy is scheduled to die at noon tomorrow unless his rescue angel steps up. Carlton was a stray surrender just a few short days ago. He has a great appetite and is behaving like a purrfect gentleman. Everyone knows that orange boys are the sweetest and our furry friend, Carlton is surely no exception to this rule. Again, it doesn’t matter to the shelter who is ready to kill Carlton to make room for the next highly adoptable cat. Won’t you please open up your home to this precious, low maintenance pet? Please reserve Carlton online or contact a NH rescue for help with transportation. Are you ready to be THE SOMEBODY in “somebody do something?” If so, Carlton will reward you with a lifetime of love and licks

06/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Carlton was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer . I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling Placement Determination: Experience
