***SAFE 07/08/15***WHITE AND GREY HEALTHY & TERRIFIC TABBY KITTEN NEEDS YOU-BE CARDS’ HERO! “Sweet cat, tolerates handling,” an ACC worker noted during intake of 7 month old kitten, Cards. This lovely little lady came in as a stray back on 6/25—a great little girl who although being shy, tolerated petting and handling. There is never a good time for a kitten to wind up in the shelter system, but when that system is bursting at the seams with homeless animals? That’s the worst time possible. Cards may have lousy timing, but this little cherub is otherwise perfect. is seven months old, enjoys great health and loves everyone she meets. Please save this excellent kitten tonight, because Cards will not be getting a second chance tomorrow. Please reserve her online or contact a NH rescue for assistance with transportation. Won’t you please help write a happy ending to Cards’ sad tale? Put a little love in your heart and home with this terrific white and grey tabby kitten!

07/02/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Cards was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent but slowly wams up and appreciates attention Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but nervous. Placement Determination: Experience
