**SAFE 10/28/15** CAMRO and ZIPPY are beautiful young baby girls who were trapped, then brought into the ACC. The shelter thinks they are “feral” but they have managed to cope with their fear well enough to earn EXPNOCHILD ratings, so it’s possible that they do have some prior experience with humans. After all, the shelter is a terrifying place for animals, and how often have perfectly nice house pets reacted like wild things, once they were left at the ACC? No matter what their backstories are, CAMRO and ZIPPY need someone to step up and save them tonight! Please don’t let them be killed tomorrow afternoon, while the rest of NYC is eating lunch. Find a FOSTER or ADOPTER for CAMRO and ZIPPY tonight!

10/26/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Camro was by the back of the cage, squeezed into the corner upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Camro blinks softly. Reaction to cage door opening: Camro remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Camro lowers her head and closes her eyes. She remains in place for all petting, but starts to breathe rapidly and attempts to hide behind her blanket. Reaction to pick up: Camro remains soft and nuzzles into the assessor’s hand. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Camro tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
