***SAFE 07/25/15*** SECOND CHANCE FOR THIS SWEET YOUNG LACTATING GIRL, WHO ENTERED THE ACC WITHOUT HER KITTENS, HAS A LEFT HIND LEG FRACTURE AND A SPECIAL VOLUNTEER PLEA – PLEASE GRANT CAMEL A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Pretty two-year-old calico cutie CAMEL entered the kill-happy ACC as an INJURED STRAY, STILL LACTATING, but she came into the shelter WITHOUT ANY KITTENS! She is LAME on her left hind leg due to an old fracture. Sadly, since the last time she was euth listed, Camel has now caught the shelter cold, which means here she is again back on tonight’s euth list! Camel ALLOWED PETTING during her behavior eval to earn a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating, yet the heartless ACC will KILL this pretty princess at noon tomorrow. Please open your heart and home to this sweet, shy, SUFFERING girl! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt injured young calico girl CAMEL! If you can’t save CAMEL yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Camel looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Camel remains hiding in her cat den, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Camel flinches on the touch and attempts to escape her cage. Placement determination: Experience / no child Camel tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
