**SAFE 10/13/15** Memo to all those people who would love to foster/adopt a kitten, but who have been unable to foster a bottle baby through a New Hope rescue group: HERE’S YOUR CHANCE! This adorable quartet of kitteny cuteness needs YOU, tonight! These little squishes are old enough to be adopted directly (although you can still work with a rescue to foster them), and since they are set to DIE TOMORROW at the ACC, these little squishes are in the same dire straits as all those other kittens who have been featured on our pages this summer. TAMTAM, SAMSAM, CAMCAM and BAMBAM are cute, deserving babycats who should NOT be lost to the broken shelter system but that’s exactly what will happen tomorrow, unless YOU find them a way out, tonight!

10/12/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
CamCam was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He allowed all handling upon intake and during his initial medical exam. Reaction to Assessor: CamCam was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: CamCam looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Cam Cam remains motionless. Reaction to touch: CamCam was hesitant of touch and slowly backs away from the assessor’s hand. He flinches when touched and lowers his body, but allows all petting. Reaction to being picked up: CamCam remains tense, but allows handling. Placement Determination: Experience No Child CamCam tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
