I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/05/2015 from NY 11233, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-034877.

Callie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Upon intake Callie was tense but allowed collaring and scanning. Reaction to assessor: Callie was curled up at the back of the kennel licking her lips. Reaction when softly spoken to: Callie makes eye contact with the assessor and slow blinks. Reaction to cage door opening: Callie remains neutral. Reaction to touch: Callie was tense when petted. She slowly warms up and leans her head in for attention. Behavior Determination: Experience Callie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
